Introduction of Co-organiser

The British Computer Society (BCS), The Chartered Institute for IT, was established in 1957 and now has a membership of over 70,000 in over 100 countries. BCS is the leading industry body for ICT professionals, providing internationally recognised ICT qualifications to the world. BCS (Hong Kong Section) was founded in 1991 to create a hub and platform to unite and communicate with the BCS members in Hong Kong, and to create a professional presence for the BCS Headquarters. Since then, the Section has organised many activities and gatherings for the members. The Section has also actively participated in the public and invited consultation of ICT related matters initiated by the Government. Currently, there are over 1,000 members attached to the Section.



協辦機構簡介

英國電腦學會成立於1957年,目前在超過一百個國家有七萬多會員。英國電腦學會是業內人士廣具認可的專業組織,並提供國際認可的資訊及通訊科技專業資格。英國電腦學會(香港分會)成立於1991年,在香港提供一個平台以便香港的會員聯繫及溝通,並為英國電腦學會總部在香港建立專業風範。自此,香港分會為會員組織了很多活動及聚會,並積極參與資訊及通訊科技有關的公開或被政府邀請的諮詢。目前香港分會有超過一千名會員。
